Phoenix Labor Group is seeking a skilled Field Welder to join our team in the industrial sector, specifically in the Kilgore, Texas area. This opportunity is for one of our partners who operates in the construction, mining, forestry, forklift, and industrial machinery markets.

Job Overview

Field Welder specializing in flux-core welding, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of structural and mechanical components in industrial field environments. Must demonstrate strong knowledge of welding procedures, equipment, safety codes, and regulations. The ideal candidate is professional, technically skilled, mechanically proficient, and capable of producing high-quality welds in demanding conditions. MSHA certification is a plus.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Industrial Mechanics can often be physically demanding. Installation and repair activities of equipment often require the need to kneel, crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must also be able to operate tools and measuring devices in close quarters and provide control and accuracy.
• Must also be able to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, and written or verbal instructions.
• Must be motivated to work on their own and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills are a necessary part of this position as well as being capable of completing tasks with limited supervision.
• Recruiting Assistant

• Must successfully pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.

• MSHA Certification is a plus

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
