We are seeking skilled Welders and Fitters to join our medium-sized team of 6-15 professionals, working primarily on manufacturing and production line projects. Reporting to the Supervisor, this role involves hands-on work with both basic hand tools and advanced welding equipment to deliver high-quality metal fabrication and fitting services, while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks according to specifications
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain and service welding equipment for optimal performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Prepare materials and layout measurements accurately for fitting
- Collaborate effectively within the production line team
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in welding and fitting
- Technical diploma in Welding or related field
- Welding certification such as AWS
- Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Mechanical fitting skills
- Strong attention to detail
