NOW HIRING TRUSS LABORER
Location: Lindon or St. George, Utah
Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
Full-time Two shifts available
Long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Truss Laborers to help build roof and floor trusses for residential and commercial projects.
Previous truss-building knowledge or related construction experience is preferred. Candidates with basic experience who are motivated to continue learning are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Assemble roof and floor trusses according to work instructions
Measure and cut wood at the required angles
Hammer gussets and connector plates onto trusses
Run completed trusses through roller machinery
Move, lift, and stack trusses
Operate tools and equipment safely
Follow work orders and production instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with other production duties as needed
Requirements:
Basic truss-building, carpentry, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to use basic measuring tools and perform practical math
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Dependable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical work
Basic English comprehension is helpful for understanding workplace instructions
Must pass a background check and drug screening
