Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Industrial Pipe and Equipment Systems is looking for a skilled Orbital Welders for commercial refrigeration to join our team. If you're a precision-focused welding professional ready to work on high-stakes piping systems, this is your opportunity to do what you do best alongside a team that values craftsmanship and quality.
Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor orbital welding equipment for pipe and tube applications
• Perform precision TIG/GTAW orbital welds on stainless steel, and alloy piping systems
• Read and interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and isometric drawings
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with applicable codes (ASME, AWS)
• Maintain and troubleshoot orbital welding machines and related equipment
• Coordinate with pipe fitters, engineers, and project supervisors to meet project timelines
• Document weld logs, inspection records, and material traceability reports

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Orbital Welder or automated GTAW/TIG welder in an industrial setting
• Proficiency with orbital welding systems (e.g., Arc Machines, Polysoude, or similar)
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant piping codes and welding standards
• Ability to read isometric drawings, weld maps, and WPS/PQR documentation
• AWS or ASME welding certifications preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work in industrial environments including refineries, petrochemical, or manufacturing facilities
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have own tools
• Position is 100% Travel

10-99 Pay Scale:

• 10-99 ($65-$75 an hour depending on experience)
• MUST TRAVEL

W-2 Pay Scale:

• W2 ($ 35-$45 an hour introductory period)
• $150 a day per diem
• Mileage compensation
• MUST TRAVEL
