What You'll Do
As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced electrical professionals while learning the fundamentals of residential electrical service, repair, and installation.
You will:
Assist with residential electrical service calls, repairs, maintenance, and installations
Learn the basics of residential electrical systems, wiring, circuits, panels, lighting, outlets, switches, and other components
Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
Learn how to safely use electrical hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment
Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for service and installation work
Learn proper electrical repair and installation procedures
Follow applicable safety requirements, company procedures, and electrical codes
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Protect customers' homes and property while performing work
Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
Learn how to explain electrical findings and solutions to customers
Assist with accurate job documentation using ServiceTitan or similar software
Maintain tools, materials, equipment, and company vehicles
Apply coaching and feedback as you develop your skills
Represent Mister Sparky with professionalism, reliability, integrity, and pride
What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you have:
A genuine interest in building a career in the electrical trade
No previous professional electrical experience required
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands
Willingness to learn electrical tools, systems, and terminology
Ability to follow instructions and apply feedback
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Professional communication skills
Strong customer service mindset
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work in a physically active environment, including attics, crawl spaces, and varying indoor and outdoor conditions
Willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening
Previous experience in construction, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, automotive repair, mechanical work, or another hands-on trade is a plus, but not required.What Success Looks Like Here

This position is designed to help you take the first step toward becoming a skilled residential electrical professional.
Based on successful completion of training, demonstrated technical competency, performance, and business needs, Electrical Apprentices may have opportunities to advance into a Residential Service Electrician role, often after approximately 9-12+ months of development.
Advancement can bring increased earning opportunities and additional tools and resources, including a company take-home vehicle, fuel card, and iPad.
