Must have knowledge of TIG with some MIG. Able to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications. Use of electric and air tools. Works with Stainless Steel, Sheet Metal. Able to work with 16-18 gauge material. Good with structural welding from 1 2" to 6". Fluxcore is a plus. Will be given a Welding Test on TIG, MIG & Structural

Essential Job Duties
Ÿ May give work assignments and provide guidance to other Welder staff as assigned
Ÿ Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
Ÿ Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as TIG and MIG
Ÿ Welders may specialize in certain types of welding such as custom fabrication, welding, structural construction welding, or production welding
Ÿ Use electric/air tools and power tools as required
Ÿ Scan all jobs through the Made2Manage (M2M) system
Other Duties
Ÿ Operate plasma machine for cutting as needed
Ÿ Assembly of subassemblies as needed
Ÿ Operate forklift, electronic pallet jack or hoist
Ÿ Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ÿ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ÿ Five years experience as Welder II, or a welding certification and three years welding experience in the trade and some college or industry courses in welding is desirable
Ÿ Five years machine shop experience desirable
Ÿ Working knowledge of welding materials and equipment
Ÿ Forklift, pallet jack and hoist experience desirable
Ÿ Must be able to read and use a tape measure
