$18.00 - $40.00/hour (based on experience)
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Must be available for occasional weekends and 10-12 hour shifts as needed. Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading HVAC and plumbing company in Mendota, IL, to hire a Sewer & Drain Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with plumbing, drain cleaning, sewer maintenance, or mechanical experience who are looking to build a long-term career with a reputable and growing company. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and clear clogged drains, sewer lines, and wastewater systems
- Perform drain cleaning using snakes, jetting equipment, and specialized tools
- Conduct sewer camera inspections to identify blockages and line damage
- Assist with sewer line repairs, replacements, and maintenance projects
- Troubleshoot drainage issues in residential and commercial properties
- Document findings and recommend solutions to customers and supervisors
- Maintain equipment, tools, and service vehicles
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Provide professional customer service while on job sites
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous sewer, drain, plumbing, or mechanical experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and drain cleaning equipment
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic plumbing knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
