Position OverviewCTPS is hiring an experienced, licensed plumber to join our team. This role covers hands-on installation, service, and repair work for commercial and residential customers you will be assigned to either our Service / Maintenance & Repair team or our New Construction / Remodel team based on experience and current need. You will work independently on job sites, represent CTPS directly with customers and general contractors, and mentor less-experienced techs and apprentices on your crew.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing systems water, waste, vent, and gas in commercial and residential settings.
Diagnose and resolve service issues efficiently, or execute new construction / remodel rough-in through trim work to plan and spec, depending on assignment.
Read and work from blueprints, plumbing plans, and specifications on new construction and remodel projects.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, general contractors, and property managers on-site.
Ensure all work meets Texas plumbing code and passes local Waco-area permitting and inspection requirements.
Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time on job through ServiceTitan.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and company vehicle.
Mentor apprentices and less-experienced plumbers on the crew.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed (Service/M&R roles).
What We're Looking ForA minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience.
A current Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber license required.
Solid working knowledge of both commercial and residential plumbing systems.
Ability to work independently, manage your own time on a job site, and represent CTPS professionally with customers and GCs.
A valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation, if assigned to Service/M&R.
A strong track record of quality workmanship and code-compliant installs.
