POSITION TITLE: Account Manager

SUMMARY: As an Account Manager you will play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales process
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a deep understanding of the technical specifications, features, and applications of the products or services offered.
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
Translate technical information into compelling value propositions for customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Assist in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
Address customer inquiries and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
Build rapport and establish credibility with customers by demonstrating technical expertise and understanding of their requirements.
Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions based on customer specifications.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Assist in preparing sales quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
Work closely with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and negotiate terms to close deals.
Provide input on product positioning and differentiation based on technical features and customer feedback.
Serve as a resource for customers to address technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve product-related challenges.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues as needed.
Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or a related role is preferred.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
