The role you will play:
Using computer-aided software, create drawings, blueprints, BIM's, schematics and layouts of products currently being manufactured or for new products being developed.
Create BIM's and part numbers for the ERP systems utilized by the company.
Maintain files for drawings and documentation.
Assist with material estimates and sales presentations.
Assist engineers in helping the production and other manufacturing teams have a clear understand of the product design to ensure efficiency and quality.
Background requirements:
AAS in AutoCAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting and Design or other related field.
Proficiency with SolidWorks preferred.
Working understanding of drafting/design standards and processes and GD&T.
Working Knowledge of ERP systems
Solid communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. May include some overnight travel.
