Job Description
Lotte Chemical Alabama Corp. is seeking a qualified Cost and Budget Account Specialist to support cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis within its automotive manufacturing operations. This position plays an important role in monitoring production-related costs and supporting data-driven financial decision-making across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to support cost control initiatives
Monitor and maintain budget records using internal ERP systems and financial tools
Prepare cost and budget reports, including variance analysis between planned and actual expenses
Support forecasting of production costs, expenses, and financial performance
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency through data analysis
Monitor financial trends affecting manufacturing costs, including material price and supply chain fluctuations
Assist in maintaining financial records, reconciliations, and internal reporting processes
Support budget planning activities and cross-functional financial coordination
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in cost analysis, budgeting, accounting, or related financial operations
Experience with ERP systems or financial management software preferred
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to interpret financial and operational data in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
