Restaurant Manager
Location: Omaha, NE
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually

Restaurant Manager Opportunity
A premier public golf course in Omaha is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its restaurant. The property combines championship golf with elevated dining, private events, and a vibrant social atmosphere serving golfers, event guests, and the surrounding community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who enjoys developing teams, improving service standards, and creating memorable guest experiences. The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily front-of-house operations while partnering closely with the culinary and events teams.
Restaurant Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and lounge operations
- Lead, coach, schedule, and develop front-of-house employees
- Maintain high standards for hospitality, service, cleanliness, and presentation
- Create a welcoming experience for golfers, community guests, and private-event attendees
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, promotions, and service expectations
- Train employees on service standards, menu knowledge, responsible alcohol service, and operating procedures
- Monitor labor, payroll, scheduling, and other operating costs
- Support restaurant profitability through efficient staffing and expense management
- Partner with culinary leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent food service
- Collaborate with the events team to execute private parties, tournaments, banquets, and social gatherings
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain compliance with food-safety, sanitation, workplace-safety, and alcohol-service requirements
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions
- Help build a positive, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture
Restaurant Manager Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management, food and beverage management, or hospitality leadership experience
- Full-service restaurant, country club, golf course, hotel, resort, or event-driven dining experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate employees
- Working knowledge of scheduling, payroll, labor management, and restaurant financial performance
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering an excellent guest experience
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
