We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to support our surveying and mapping team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing accurate, high-quality drawings related to topographic surveys, easements, exhibits, plats, and construction-related maps.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare topographic survey maps, site plans, and base files using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Create and update easement documents, legal exhibits, and boundary-related drawings.
- Produce clear, precise survey maps, figures, and deliverables that meet company and client standards.
- Interpret field notes, sketches, point files, and survey data to develop accurate drawings.
- Coordinate with survey coordinators, field crews, and office staff to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized CAD files and adhere to drafting standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience strongly preferred).
- Experience drafting topo maps, easements, plats, or survey-related drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret survey data.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of land surveying principles is a plus.
