Job Description

Independent Contractor (1099) Delivery Teams to execute local, white-glove home appliance deliveries. We contract with 2-person owner-operator teams (Driver + Installation Helper)

1. Route Execution & Timely Service Accept daily digital manifests and execute scheduled, multi-stop residential routes.Safely manage transit, customer arrival windows, and real-time electronic delivery tracking updates via smartphone application.
2. Specialized Appliance Setup & Safety ComplianceContracted teams are required to install major household appliances according to manufacturer specs and strict safety protocols.Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Mandatory mounting of anti-tip brackets into floor or wall studs for all freestanding stoves and ranges. Contractor must conduct a physical pull-test and submit photographic proof of lock completion.Dryer Fire & Leak Mitigation: Installation of rigid or semi-rigid aluminum venting ducts (foil/plastic vents are prohibited). Execution of a soap-bubble or electronic gas sniffer check on all newly connected gas valves.Over-the-Range (OTR) Microwaves: Two-person team hoist to secure heavy mounting plates directly into structural wall studs (no floating drywall installations). Verify code clearance heights.
3. Haul-Away & DisposalSafely extract, load, and return legacy consumer appliances (haul-aways) to the central fulfillment hub for recycling. Contractor Requirements & Equipment SpecsBecause this is a 1099 business contract, the contracting business entity must provide their own equipment and meet the following operational compliance standards:Crew Size: Must provide a steady two (2) person crew (1 Lead Driver/Installer and 1 Installation Helper) capable of heavy lifting up to 400+ lbs collectively.Vehicle Requirement: Must operate a clean, well-maintained company 26-foot box truck equipped with a lift gate, heavy-duty ramps, moving blankets, tie-down straps, and protective floor runners.Tooling: Contractor must supply all necessary hand tools, power drills, socket sets, levels, electronic gas sniffers, and heavy-duty appliance dollies.
