Role Description The Asset Protection Partner is a full-time, on-site role based in Honolulu, HI, responsible for supporting a safe, secure, and profitable store environment. This role focuses on preventing loss by observing customer and employee activity, identifying potential theft or policy violations, and responding according to company guidelines. The Asset Protection Partner partners closely with store leadership to implement and reinforce loss prevention procedures, conduct routine audits, monitor inventory controls, and maintain accurate incident documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include floor presence, reviewing surveillance, participating in investigations, and assisting with training team members on safety and asset protection best practices. The Asset Protection Partner also supports emergency response procedures, helps maintain compliance with company and legal standards, and contributes to a positive client experience by modeling professionalism and respect.
Qualifications
Experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or store security, with the ability to identify, investigate, and report suspicious activity in a calm and objective manner.
Strong understanding of basic retail operations, including inventory control, cash handling awareness, and store safety procedures.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate with store leadership, and interact respectfully with clients and colleagues.
Sound judgment, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills, including the ability to remain composed under pressure and follow company protocols.
Ability to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods, with flexibility to work a full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Familiarity with video surveillance systems, incident reporting tools, or similar technology is preferred.
Prior retail experience, especially in a beauty or fashion environment, is an advantage.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in security, loss prevention, or related fields are beneficial.
