Job Description: Lead Mobile Diesel Technician

Full-Time $28-$40/hour Stable Hourly Pay - No Flat RatePosition Summary
DuraFleet Cleveland East is seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Diesel Technician to help build our growing Northeast Ohio operation.
We're looking for a skilled, dependable technician who can work independently, takes pride in quality work, and wants the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the company expands.
You'll provide mobile maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial fleet customers throughout Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga, Portage, and surrounding counties.Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial fleet vehicles
Diagnose diesel, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems
Complete mobile repairs at fleet yards, customer facilities, job sites, and roadside locations
Maintain accurate digital work orders and service documentation
Communicate professionally with customers and ownership
Maintain an organized service truck, tools, and equipment
Help establish service standards and support future technicians as we grow
Qualifications
5+ years of diesel, commercial vehicle, fleet, or heavy-equipment experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with PM services, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and suspension
Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Dependable, motivated, and accountable
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
ASE certifications, CDL, mobile service experience, welding/fabrication, and previous leadership experience are a plus.Why DuraFleet Cleveland East?
