Role Description This is a part-time Junior Advisor role based in Miami Lakes, FL, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Advisor will support clients by gathering financial information, helping analyze needs, and assisting in the recommendation of appropriate financial products and services. Daily activities include participating in client meetings, preparing basic financial illustrations and documentation, and maintaining accurate client records in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves coordinating with senior advisors, learning product offerings, attending training sessions, and contributing to client outreach and follow-up. Junior Advisors are expected to uphold high ethical standards, provide clear and respectful communication, and support a positive client experience.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts in clear, accessible language.
Basic understanding of personal finance topics such as budgeting, saving, insurance, and investments, with a desire to build deeper expertise.
Customer service orientation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on supporting the needs of middle-income families.
Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple client tasks and maintain accurate records.
Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including reliable access to technology for remote work and collaboration.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Ability to learn quickly through structured training, mentorship, and self-directed study; openness to obtaining relevant financial licenses as required.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in finance, business, economics, or a related field is beneficial.
Proficiency with common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, CRM systems) is an asset.
Previous experience in customer-facing, sales, or financial services roles is helpful but not required.
