7 Step Salary Range.
Currently $78,552 - $112,858 (includes a 4% pensionable stipend).
Initial placement up to Step 6, depending on qualifications.

Basic Requirements:
Certified police officer in the State of Illinois.
High School Diploma or GED.
Pre-employment screening includes background investigation, review of past and current performance evaluations, interview, polygraph, psychological exam, medical exam, and drug screening.
