We're partnering with a school in El Paso County, CO for a Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year.
The Special Education Teacher will work with students with diverse learning needs by delivering individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals, fostering academic growth, social-emotional development, and inclusive participation within the school community.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time hours
Location: In person, 35 hours per week
School Year: 2026/2027
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and specialized academic support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications in collaboration with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
Conduct ongoing assessments to track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate and compliant special education documentation and participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews.
Support positive behavior interventions and create a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Active Colorado Special Education teaching license (required)
