We are looking for a full-time Lead Daycare Teacher to join our team in Broomall, PA.
The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a fun, engaging classroom while making sure children are safe, supported, and well cared for throughout the day. This includes planning activities, following daily routines, and providing learning experiences that are appropriate for the children's ages and individual needs.
The Lead Teacher will also keep track of children's progress, communicate with families, and work closely with other teachers to provide consistent care. A typical day may include leading circle time, planning crafts and activities, reading stories, helping children build social and emotional skills, managing classroom behavior, and keeping the classroom clean and organized.
This position also includes guiding and supporting assistant teachers, attending staff meetings and training, and helping create a positive and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff. The Lead Teacher is expected to follow all school policies and state licensing requirements.Benefits

Qualifications
Experience working in a daycare, preschool, or other early childhood setting.
Strong understanding of child safety, supervision, classroom routines, and daily daycare operations.
Knowledge of early childhood development and experience planning age-appropriate activities.
Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Previous experience as a lead or primary classroom teacher is preferred.
CDA, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Ability to meet all state and local licensing requirements, including background checks, health clearances, and required training.
Reliable, patient, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team.
