Job Description: Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP is a medium-sized prestigious mid-town banking law firm that fosters an environment where talented individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences can work in a collegial atmosphere. ZEK's growing Banking and Real Estate Lending Practice is seeking an attorney with one to three years of experience.
Qualifications:
J.D. from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA)
Admitted to practice law in New York or passed the bar and awaiting admission
One to three years of experience as banking and lending associate
Responsibilities:
The role will include drafting documentation for bank and non-bank financial institutions and private lenders for transactions secured by real estate, various other types of personal property, as well as for non-performing remedial matters. The ideal candidate should have strong writing, organizational and analytical skills and is capable of running a transaction as part of the team.
