Position Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Piano Instructor to teach 1 night per week at our Centreville location, Nokesville location, or both (with strong potential to grow quickly into multiple nights). All instruction is delivered in small group classes (3-6 students), grouped by age and ability for learners ages 6 through adult.
Key Responsibilities
Teach age- and ability-grouped classes (3-6 students per group, ages 6-adult).
Deliver engaging lessons integrating music theory, technique, and varied repertoire.
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and communicate with families.
Prepare students for recitals and open mic at the end of each semester.
Qualifications
Strong piano performance skills in classical and contemporary repertoire.
Background in Piano/Music Education with the ability to manage small group settings.
Excellent communication, patience, and student-centered instruction skills.
Degree/diploma in Music or prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
