Role Description This is a part-time contract Violin/Strings Teacher role based on-site in Mabank, TX. The teacher will provide individual and small-group instruction in violin and other string instruments, focusing on technique, music literacy, and expressive performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, selecting appropriate repertoire, preparing students for recitals or performances, and tracking student progress. The role also involves communicating with parents or caregivers, maintaining a safe and encouraging learning environment, and collaborating with other instructors to support program goals and events.
Qualifications

Strong proficiency on violin and other string instruments, such as cello.
Background in music education, with the ability to teach fundamental and intermediate skills.
Knowledge of orchestral music and general music theory to support comprehensive instruction.
Experience working with children or learners of varied ages and skill levels in a studio or classroom setting.
Clear, patient communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
Reliability in maintaining scheduled lessons and events, with professional time-management skills.
Relevant degree, certification, or equivalent practical experience in music or music education is preferred.
Ability to pass any required background checks in accordance with local regulations and school policies.
