Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Interior Designer role based in Minneapolis, MN. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients and project teams to conceptualize, design, and execute creative residential design solutions. Responsibilities include space planning, material selection, preparing design presentations, creating detailed drawings, and ensuring that projects align with client needs and company standards. The Interior Designer will participate in site visits and client meetings to oversee project progress and maintain effective communication throughout the design process.
Qualifications
Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect or other 3D modeling tools
Experience in residential space planning and material selection, and drafting detailed design plans
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively working with clients, team members, and contractors
Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of design trends and a passion for creating functional yet aesthetically pleasing spaces
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Experience working in residential design or remodeling is a plus
Understanding of Minnesota building codes and local regulations is a bonus
