Job Description: Buck Hoist Service Technician
United Hoist Equipment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Buck Hoist Service Technician to join our growing team. We are one of the Southeast's leading providers of construction personnel and material hoists, serving major commercial and high-rise construction projects.
If you have experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, climbing, or dismantling construction hoists, we want to talk with you.
Responsibilities
• Install, Jump, Service and dismantle construction buck hoists.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and OSHA-required inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete manual and/or electronic service reports and customer documentation.
• Maintain a safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Travel to job sites throughout Florida and other states as needed.
Qualifications
• Previous experience with construction buck hoists or construction elevators preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• OSHA certifications are a plus.
