Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
The Night Auditor acts as the Resort's Manager on Duty during overnight hours, overseeing resort operations including Front Office, Night Audit, and Safety/Security. This role ensures operational continuity, financial accuracy, and exceptional guest service overnight.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervise all overnight resort operations, providing leadership across departments including Front Desk, Bell/Valet, Engineering, and Food & Beverage.
Lead and support Front Office team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Oversee guest service standards for check-in/out, reservations, billing, and special requests.
Manage Night Audit duties: reconcile revenue, verify billing accuracy, balance ledgers, and complete end-of-day reports.
Respond to emergencies and security concerns; coordinate with appropriate departments to ensure guest and staff safety.
Resolve guest complaints and proactively address operational issues.
Promote hotel services to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Maintain current knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and policies.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in Hospitality Management preferred.
3+ years of Front Office experience, including 1 year in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of accounting practices, guest service protocols, and hotel systems.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
