Job Description: Job Description Nyhus Enterprises is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to help maintain our equipment, building systems, and facilities. This position is a good fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and repair projects. Monday through Thursday from 6:00am - 4:30 pm or 10:00am - 8:30pm Opportunities for overtime on Fridays. $25 - $30 per hour Responsibilities Include:Inspect equipment and machinery to identify maintenance and repair needsTroubleshoot problems and determine the appropriate repairsUse equipment manuals and building blueprints when planning repairsPerform general building repairs, including drywall, painting, doors, and other fixturesComplete routine preventive maintenance on equipment and building systemsAssist with maintaining clean, safe, and organized facilitiesOrder supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenanceHelp develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety programsFollow OSHA requirements and company safety proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious maintenance, facilities, or repair experience preferredGeneral knowledge of carpentry and building repairsAbility to safely operate hand tools and power toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyKnowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices preferredAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in tight or awkward spacesAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds What Nyhus Enterprises Offers:Four-day regular work scheduleOpportunities for Friday overtimeOn-the-job trainingOpportunities for advancementHealth insuranceDental and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and paid holidaysSafety allowance and additional employee benefits Nyhus Enterprises is a family-owned contract manufacturing company specializing in powder coating, e-coating, machining, assembly, and other value-added services.
