CIMA Automotive Service & Repair is looking for an experienced, dependable Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and is willing to help wherever needed around the shop.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform brakes, steering, suspension, and general maintenance
- Perform engine and transmission repairs/replacements
- Diagnose check-engine lights and drivability concerns
- Perform cooling system and A/C repairs
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
- Test drive vehicles and verify completed repairs
- Assist with general shop work and shop-hand duties as needed
- Help move vehicles in and out of the shop
- Assist with parts, tools, equipment, and vehicle organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop/work area
- Clean up work bays after repairs and properly dispose of fluids and materials
- Help with day-to-day shop operations when needed
- Properly document repairs and findings
Requirements
- Previous professional automotive repair experience required
- Must have your own tools
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to perform both technician work and general shop duties
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
Schedule
Monday - Friday
