Quality Inspector
This position supports manufacturing operations by inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience performing mechanical inspections, using precision measuring equipment, and documenting inspection results in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify quality and conformance
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation
Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, verniers, and other calibrated inspection tools
Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
Identify and document nonconforming materials or products and communicate findings to appropriate personnel
Analyze inspection data and assist in identifying trends or recurring quality concerns
Support acceptance and final release decisions for completed products
Upload, scan, and maintain inspection records and quality documentation
Assist with continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on quality-related issues
Maintain an organized work area and follow established quality procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Experience using calibrated measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and verniers
Ability to read rulers and measuring devices utilizing standard and metric measurements
Working knowledge of inspection methods and quality control procedures
Strong computer skills and experience maintaining inspection records
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and make sound quality-related decisions
Experience inspecting mechanical assemblies, fabricated components, or machined parts preferred
