Working within a small team, this detail-oriented technician focuses on vehicle inspection, diagnostic testing, and routine upkeep without the expectation of overnight or weekend work. The position is a generalist role, requiring versatile skills across various automotive systems to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to identify issues and assess repair needs
- Perform diagnostic testing to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Repair engines, brakes, and electrical systems
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes and fluid checks
- Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle performance issues
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed
- Collaborate effectively within a small team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in automotive repair
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ASE Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficient in engine diagnostics and brake systems repair
- Experience with electrical systems and suspension repair
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management skills
