Automotive Technician

We are seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to join our small team specializing in passenger cars, light trucks, and a mixed fleet. The ideal candidate will perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software. This role offers a standard work schedule without overtime or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics using OBD-II scanners and manufacturer software
• Conduct engine, brake system, and electrical system repairs
• Complete preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Replace parts and components as needed
• Perform test drives to verify repair quality
• Conduct digital vehicle inspections to document condition
• Maintain compliance with safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in automotive repair
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification
• Proficient in automotive diagnostics, brake system repair, engine repair, and electrical troubleshooting
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Committed to safety compliance
