Land Rover Huntington is looking for
Master Automotive Technicians to join our Service team in Huntington, NY!
Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years working as a Master Automotive Technician
- Land Rover experience preferred
- Must have valid Driver's License
- CDK & Previous Automotive Dealership experience strongly preferred
- Must have good attendance and time management
- Must have a great work ethic & be willing to join a winning team!
Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect and document condition of vehicle based on customers' requests or concerns
- Conduct initial diagnostic testing to identify specific issues impacting vehicles
- Perform more complex maintenance services on vehicles including (but not limited to) engine replacement, electrical work, transmission repair and more
- Document all services and repairs performed to provide to service advisors and/or customers
- Identify any additional recommendations for services and communicate with management
- Communicate with other service staff and/or customers if additional services are required and ensure information is documented and outlined
- Assist other service technicians or staff with questions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Answer high-level questions posed by customers and service staff
- Maintain a clean and safe service department
