Golf Cart Technician/Mechanic

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Golf Cart Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be mechanically skilled, eager to learn, and able to work efficiently in a professional shop environment. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading golf carts, including both gas and electric models.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on gas and electric golf carts
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using proper tools (including a voltmeter)
• Install accessories such as audio systems and lift kits
• Assist with general shop duties and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Follow schedules and complete work in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in small engines and/or electric motors
• Ability to properly use diagnostic tools, including a volt meter
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working with tools and in a shop environment
• Ability to lift 50-200 lbs (with assistance when needed)
• Reliable and punctual
• Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with installations (cars, golf carts, ATVs, or similar)
• Previous mechanic or technician experience
