Job Description: Job Description Req ID: 550 Job Title: FINISH PAINTER Location: Jacksonville, FL, US 32221 Job Type: Full-Time Education: High School Diploma / GED Travel: Up to 10% Job Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Requires comprehension in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and general knowledge of proper application of corrosive protective coatings, primers, paints, and other coatings to include lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics, etc.Knowledge of paint spray guns, mixers, and other tools required for the surface preparation and application processes.Knowledge of commonly used paint concepts, practices, and procedures/drying times for coatings applies. Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required.Two (2) years of experience in the field of autobody or aviation painting, or equivalent work-related experience preferred.Knowledge and training in the use of respirators.
