Automotive Flat Rate Technician / Mechanic

Rogers Motors in Lewiston Idaho has full-time openings for Automotive Technicians / Mechanics across our Toyota, Subaru, and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealerships. What You'll Do

The Automotive Technician / Mechanic performs routine repairs and maintenance ranging from warranty, recalls, scheduled maintenance and customer pay. It is imperative that these tasks can be performed at the highest quality to ensure customer retention as well as an outstanding reputation. A successful candidate for the Automotive Technician / Mechanic position will have at least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair environment.

• Drivability, electrical diagnosis and air conditioning repairs.
• Routine repairs and maintenance related to warranty, recalls, and scheduled maintenance.
• Operate inspection software.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair environment including, heavy duty truck or automotive repair.
• Must possess computer skills.
• Must possess personal tools necessary to perform repairs.
• ASE Certifications or tech school degree preferred but not required.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to operate all shop equipment.
• Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently with little supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
