Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial reports and support monthly and year-end closing activities.
Analyze monthly and quarterly profit and loss results and provide financial information to management.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions.
Review journal entries and accounting transactions for compliance with applicable accounting standards and Company procedures.
Utilize SAP ERP to review accounting transactions, general ledger accounts, and financial information.
Support financial reporting and maintain the accuracy of accounting data within the Company's ERP system.
Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and assist with resolving intercompany differences.
Prepare accounts receivable and other financial analysis reports and monitor outstanding receivable balances.
Support internal control procedures and accounting compliance activities.
Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Maintenance, Development, Operations, and other departments regarding accounting and financial matters.
Provide financial analysis and information to management to support business and operational decisions.
Assist with process improvements related to accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional experience in accounting, finance, financial analysis, or a related field.
Knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, and accounting principles.
Experience with ERP systems; experience with SAP is preferred.
Ability to analyze financial information and identify accounting discrepancies.
Knowledge of internal control procedures and financial reporting processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with U.S. GAAP or other applicable financial reporting standards.
Experience with intercompany accounting.
Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Experience with financial analysis and management reporting.
Experience working with multinational or international organizations.
Professional certification or progress toward a professional qualification in accounting or finance.
