Commercial Construction Low Voltage Structured Cabling

TradeWise Staffing Group is hiring experienced Low Voltage Technicians in Glendale, Arizona for a commercial construction project. We are looking for skilled technicians with hands-on experience in structured cabling, low voltage systems, copper and fiber optic cabling, fire alarm systems, access control, security systems, MDF/IDF buildouts, and telecommunications infrastructure.

Low Voltage Scope of Work

Low Voltage Technicians will perform a variety of commercial low voltage and structured cabling installations, including:

• Install ladder rack, cable tray, basket tray, J-hooks, and low voltage pathway systems
• Build out MDF and IDF telecommunications rooms
• Install and organize network racks, equipment racks, patch panels, and cable management systems
• Pull, route, dress, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and other copper data cabling
• Pull, route, terminate, and support fiber optic cabling
• Perform structured cabling and telecommunications cabling installations
• Install and support fire alarm systems and fire alarm devices
• Install door access control systems, card readers, security devices, and related low voltage equipment
• Install and support security system infrastructure
• Perform complete cable dressing and cable management
• Label cables, racks, patch panels, pathways, and devices according to project specifications
• Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling
• Assist with fiber testing, copper testing, certification, and system verification
• Read and follow blueprints, low voltage drawings, floor plans, riser diagrams, and cable schedules
• Maintain clean, organized MDF/IDF rooms and telecommunications spaces
• Follow commercial construction safety procedures and project standards

Candidates should be comfortable working on an active commercial construction site and completing installations efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.

Pay:

$26.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience
