We are growing our existing maintenance department and seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems throughout our facility. This role is critical to ensuring safety, equipment reliability, and production uptime. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair AC/DC drives, motor controls, PLCs, process controls, lighting, alarms, and security systems.
- Maintain and repair overhead cranes, electric motors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, facilities, and mobile equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Fabricate brackets, supports, and replacement components as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing instruments.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with all company safety policies.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and work overtime when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with overhead cranes, industrial equipment, and steel fabrication environments preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, welders, grinders, cranes, and testing equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, bend, and work in industrial environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and heavier loads with assistance.
- Ability to work in conditions involving noise, vibration, dust, weather exposure, and moving equipment.
