This role is responsible for performing advanced mechanical repairs, diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and ensuring quality service for our customers. Responsibilities
Carry out a wide variety of mechanical services with accuracy and efficiency
Diagnose and resolve advanced vehicle concerns using diagnostic equipment
Document all repair work performed with attention to detail
Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations
Stay current on training, certifications, and manufacturer updates
Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs and provide updates
Collaborate with service staff to maintain a clean and organized shop environment
Follow all dealership safety guidelines and policies
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Ford Certification (or equivalent OEM Certification) required; ASE Certification preferred
Minimum 5 years of automotive technician experience, with Master Technician credentials highly valued
Previous experience at a Ford dealership strongly preferred
Expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency with diagnostic and repair equipment
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Ability to work efficiently, independently, and in a team setting
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
