ABOUT THIS POSITION:
We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to disassemble, inspect, repair, rebuild, and test AC/DC motors, generators, submersible pumps, and other industrial rotating equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Mechanically disassemble and rebuild industrial equipment
- Inspect components and identify worn or damaged parts
- Take and document precision measurements against factory specifications
- Clean, repair, and replace components as required
- Assemble equipment to required specifications
- Test completed repairs through measurements and operational testing
- Occasionally perform service work at customer facilities
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 3+ years of mechanical repair experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Mechanical/trade school training preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to follow precise instructions and work safely
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stand and work at a bench for extended periods
- Lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs. occasionally
- Climb on or over large equipment when required
SAFETY:
- Safety glasses and footwear are required; additional PPE is used as job conditions require.
