ABOUT THIS POSITION:

We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to disassemble, inspect, repair, rebuild, and test AC/DC motors, generators, submersible pumps, and other industrial rotating equipment.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Mechanically disassemble and rebuild industrial equipment
  • Inspect components and identify worn or damaged parts
  • Take and document precision measurements against factory specifications
  • Clean, repair, and replace components as required
  • Assemble equipment to required specifications
  • Test completed repairs through measurements and operational testing
  • Occasionally perform service work at customer facilities


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 3+ years of mechanical repair experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
  • Mechanical/trade school training preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to follow precise instructions and work safely


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand and work at a bench for extended periods
  • Lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs. occasionally
  • Climb on or over large equipment when required


SAFETY:

  • Safety glasses and footwear are required; additional PPE is used as job conditions require.
