Position Overview
We're seeking a motivated, articulate Sales Associate who enjoys working with people and has a keen eye for aesthetics. The ideal candidate combines sales skill with a love for art and design, providing each client with a thoughtful, enjoyable experience from first greeting to final sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests, offering insight into featured artists and collections
- Build lasting relationships with clients and collectors
- Handle sales transactions, invoices, and follow-up communication
- Assist with gallery display changes and exhibition setup
- Maintain a polished, organized, and visually appealing gallery environment
Qualifications
- Background or strong interest in fine art, design, or luxury retail
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
- Professional communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable using email, and basic computer programs
- Reliable, punctual, and available for weekend and evening shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally assist with light art handling
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
