Systems Installer III (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Systems Installer III to join our team in Omaha, NE. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an experienced installation professional with a background in building automation systems, low-voltage systems, electrical installation, or related technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on installation experience and the ability to lead a small crew while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Candidates with a strong electrical installation background who are looking to expand into building automation systems are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and support building automation and control systems.
• Lead and coordinate the work of a small installation crew.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
• Install conduit, wiring, control panels, sensors, and related system components.
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades on job sites.
• Perform system testing, commissioning support, and documentation as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

Preferred

• Experience installing Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, security systems, fire alarm systems, or similar technologies.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a small installation team.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage and electrical installation practices.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work on construction and commercial job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical installation work.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
