Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Consultant Applied Behavior Analysis (BC-ABA) to become part of our Pennsylvania team. This position provides behavioral health services within the community to children and adolescents ages 2 21. The Behavioral Consultant will evaluate client needs, assess behaviors, and work closely with caregivers, schools, and other professionals to create and oversee individualized treatment plans (ITPs).
This role combines direct client services with clinical supervision and requires sound clinical judgment, thorough recordkeeping, and a commitment to helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate client needs through behavioral assessments, observations, and identification of behaviors requiring intervention
Create, implement, and evaluate Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) in partnership with families and other members of the treatment team
Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and interventions as directed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist
Partner with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary professionals to encourage positive client outcomes and ongoing progress
Maintain accurate clinical records and provide ongoing oversight, progress monitoring, and updates based on established treatment objectives
Required Qualifications
Behavioral Consultant Applied Behavior Analysis (BC-ABA)
Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:
Hold a Pennsylvania license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner, or another licensed professional whose scope of practice permits oversight of ABA services, along with BCBA certification or another graduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
Hold a Pennsylvania license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner, or another licensed professional whose scope of practice permits oversight of ABA services, and meet one of the following:
Possess BCaBA certification or another undergraduate-level certification in behavior analysis; OR
Have at least one year of full-time experience delivering ABA services and a minimum of 12 college or university credits in ABA; OR
Have at least one year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA or other professional with a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis, along with at least 40 hours of ABA-related training.
Hold a Pennsylvania psychologist license, have at least one year of full-time experience providing ABA services, and have completed a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
Successfully obtain required Pennsylvania Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience providing leadership, clinical oversight, or supervision within behavioral health services
