Experienced Pool Service Technician - Independent Contractor (1099)

El Dorado Pools McKinney, TX and surrounding areas
Starting pay: $20 per pool, with the opportunity to increase to $25 per pool
Initial route: Approximately 40 pools per week, with room to grow

El Dorado Pools is looking for an experienced pool service technician who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can manage a route independently. If you're dependable, personable, and committed to doing the job right, we'd like to meet you.

Our office is in McKinney, and most of our customers are within approximately 25 miles. This opportunity focuses on pool service, maintenance, and minor repairs.

The Opportunity

• Start with approximately 40 pools per week-$800 weekly at the starting rate of $20 per pool.
• Opportunity to earn up to $25 per pool as you demonstrate your capabilities.
• Potential to grow to 65-75 pools per week, depending on capacity and performance.
• Set your own schedule while meeting agreed customer service times.
• We provide pool cleaning tools and chemicals.
• Receive training on our service standards and processes while bringing your existing pool service experience.

What You'll Do

• Complete scheduled pool cleaning and maintenance visits thoroughly and reliably.
• Check and maintain water chemistry.
• Identify and promptly report equipment problems, maintenance needs, and other concerns.
• Perform minor pool equipment repairs.
• Schedule and complete routine filter and salt cell cleanings.
• Communicate clearly about completed work, issues, and needed follow-up.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers.

What You'll Bring

• Previous hands-on pool service and maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to clean and maintain pools independently and handle minor repairs.
• Your own reliable truck and repair tools.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• A consistent work ethic, positive attitude, and personal accountability.
• Integrity: you do the job correctly and report problems honestly.
• A professional, personable approach with customers.

CPO certification is preferred.
