Job Title: Residential Interior Painter
We are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented individuals to join our residential interior paint crew. In this role, you will prep, prime, and paint living spaces across Southeast Michigan-transforming client homes year-round in a climate-controlled environment. You will receive paid on-the-job training to master high-end trade skills that translate directly into your professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities
- Mask and protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and non-painted surfaces thoroughly with drop cloths, plastic sheeting, and painter's tape.
- Execute clean interior prep work: spackling nail holes, patching minor drywall imperfections, sanding surfaces flush, and caulking trim/baseboards.
- Apply premium interior paints, primers, and stains to walls, ceilings, doors, and trim using brushes and rollers.
- Cut in sharp, clean lines along ceilings, baseboards, and trim without bleed-through.
- Ensure consistent, even coverage and smooth finishes free of lap marks, drips, or roller texture flaws.
- Maintain a tidy, organized footprint in client living spaces throughout the workday and execute a complete vacuum/cleanup at wrap-up.
- Clean, care for, and store manual tools (brushes, rollers, trays, and cut pots) daily.
Job Requirements & Physical Demands
- Ladders & Step Stools: Comfortable working from step ladders and 6- to 24-foot extension ladders to reach high ceilings, stairwells, and foyer walls.
- Mobility & Endurance: Ability to bend, kneel, reach overhead, and remain on your feet for an 8-10 hour shift.
- Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver paint buckets, tools, and ladders weighing up to 40-50 pounds.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between job sites.
- Professionalism: Punctual, respectful of homeowners' personal spaces, and committed to quiet, courteous job site conduct.
