We are seeking an experienced and dependable Local Customer Service Driver to safely transport customer-owned materials between local facilities and customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Drive non-CDL flatbed vehicles, including one-ton and 26-foot flatbed trucks
- Load and unload materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Properly secure loads using straps, chains, and binders
- Inspect materials and packaging before transport
- Verify shipping paperwork and obtain customer signatures
- Photograph and document pickups and deliveries
- Operate a forklift as needed
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at customer locations
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Previous professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Experience driving larger trucks, flatbeds, or similar vehicles
- Knowledge of safe load securement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
- Forklift experience preferred
- Class A or B CDL preferred, but NOT required
