Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation and repairs
• Operate power tools, hand tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing assembly tools safely and effectively
• Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during all phases of work
• Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures
• Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues and ensure optimal performance
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems involving HVAC systems or water systems
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while maintaining compliance with commercial driving regulations

Skills

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair
• Skilled in pipe threading and the use of hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks
• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing, residential plumbing, and commercial plumbing systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret construction plans accurately
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and inspection procedures
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems and water system maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about work performed and future maintenance needs
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and performing manual tasks throughout the workday
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes or system capacities
• Carpentry or handyman experience is a plus for remodeling or assembly tasks
