Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Painter in Carnegie, PA to apply paint and protective coatings to industrial equipment, machinery, structural steel, and other fabricated components. Key Responsibilities -Apply industrial paints, primers, and protective coatings to steel, equipment, machinery, pipe, plate, and structural components. -Operate airless paint sprayers to achieve proper coverage, thickness, and finish. -Use rollers and other hand-applied painting tools as needed. -Properly set up, operate, and adjust airless spray equipment. -Clean, flush, and maintain airless spray equipment after use. -Troubleshoot common issues with spray guns, hoses, tips, and pumps. -Prepare surfaces through grinding, sanding, scraping, cleaning, and other preparation methods. -Mix paints, coatings, thinners, and other materials according to manufacturer specifications. -Inspect completed work for proper coverage, consistency, runs, drips, and other imperfections. -Touch up and repair painted surfaces as needed. -Protect surrounding areas and equipment from overspray and contamination. Qualifications -Previous experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role. -Hands-on experience operating airless paint sprayers. -Experience using rollers and other painting equipment. -Knowledge of properly cleaning and maintaining airless spray equipment. -Experience with industrial paints, primers, and coatings. -Ability to properly prepare surfaces prior to painting. -Ability to read and follow coating specifications and safety procedures. -Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Valid Drivers License By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners.
