Basic Job Functions: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. • Load and organize finished material using Forklifts and Combi-Lifts. • Participates in the receiving process of all raw materials and warehouse parts as prescribed by the purchasing team. • Facility maintenance to maintain orderliness of the shipping yard. • Communication with other workstations. • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections. • Perform all other duties, as assigned. Minimum Requirements:Minimum Qualifications: • Must have a forklift certification or the ability to achieve a certification within 30 days of assuming the role. • Competency with computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.
