Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize their rehabilitation goals.
- Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, prosthetic training, and functional activities to promote recovery.
- Guide patients through personalized active and passive exercises, ensuring correct technique to maximize benefit and minimize injury risk.
- Provide detailed education for patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, self-management of conditions, and preventative strategies to maintain health.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs and outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This role will focus on a diverse patient population comprised primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will engage with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, collaborating closely to motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life through effective therapy solutions.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Hold a valid and active State Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida.
- Demonstrated ability to perform thorough clinical assessments and apply best practices in treatment methodologies.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings.
- Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
